Moving & Central McAllen!
Were Moving.jpg

For the past 6 months, we have been in a season of transition and God has been absolutely faithful and generous in allowing us to spend a season growing relationally and in maturity as a church. And now we find ourselves upon one last transition: we're moving!

We began communicating several months ago that we had been talking with the McAllen Chamber of Commerce about using the McAllen Creative Incubator (formerly the old public library). At our last members meeting, we were in the final steps with the City of McAllen and as of Sunday, September 3rd we will be having service at 10:30 at the McAllen Creative Incubator!

The Incubator is located in the heart of the city. A beautiful location with deep roots and rich in culture--we look forward to working alongside of the City and the Incubator to meet the needs of our community and city. Central McAllen is a thriving area and we're excited about the work and people God has called us to. Our mission is to make disciple of Jesus by declaring and demonstrating the beauty of Jesus to the heart of McAllen.

THE MOVE AND DETAILS

We'll share more details on the Incubator this Sunday (8/27) as it is our LAST Sunday at the "Logos Community" building. Until then, we need your help!

We have two places that we'll be moving our things to: a storage unit and the McAllen Incubator and we'll be moving both Tuesday (8/29) and Wednesday (8/30). Here are the details:

Day: Tuesday (8/29) | 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Location: "Logos Community" building
Goal: Move several boxes and items to our storage unit on N.23rd (we've already sorted out what's going where--we need muscle!)

Day: Wednesday (8/30) | 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Location: "Logos Community" building
Goal: Moving our Sunday equipment (chairs, production, kids ministry, etc.) to the McAllen Incubator (601 N. Main St).

PRAYER

We'd greatly appreciate any help if you're available. If not, then you can help by sharing this post on social media! We're excited for the future of Storehouse Community Church! Our desire is to be a church that is in the city and for the city; this means that we want to love our city physically, culturally, and spiritually.

Thank you for all of your prayers and support--we need it still! And we pray that we are faithful to what God has called us to. Would you continue to pray for us?
