MISSION
We believe that children are a vital part of God’s mission and at Storehouse McAllen we desire to come alongside parents as they disciple and develop their children to the glory of God. During our Sunday worship gathering, our children’s ministry walks through fun, engaging activities as they find Jesus through the pages of scripture. Storehouse Kids is from 3 months (Infants) to Elementary (6th grade); an opportunity for every child to participate and grow in the knowledge, love, and worship of Jesus.
SH KIDS SUNDAY GATHERING
Security is of utmost importance on Sunday’s for Storehouse Kids.
We have a check-in and dismissal system that allows parents to be greeted by a check-in volunteer to receive their safety & child’s name badges; a parent must be present at dismissal to pick-up their child.
Each team member must first go through training before serving in one of our classrooms. This includes a background check (renewed every 3 years), sexual abuse training, and training on Storehouse Kids policies and procedures. We also seek to adhere to current Ministry Safe worker-to-child ratios for each of our classrooms. Alongside our leaders and volunteers, there is at least one member of our safety team assigned to the Storehouse Kids area at all times.
